of why tv sucks

So I'm watching dead like me and my room mates are confused. So I explain to them about who the characters are grim reaper's and they're like so they're not human? I'm like yea they're human they're just dead and still kept asking/insisting they were not human. I'm pretty sure they hate the show, they only like mtv,vh1 lame reality mostly. I can see when I get the wonderfalls them asking why do the animals talk? Them thinking it's stupid and I'm the idiot cuz I can't like "normal" shows.
